What to Bring to Tryouts
- Players Birth Certificate (copy required)
- CHESAPEAKE REGION – REGULAR JUNIOR ($55 for one year). Available for all players. This is a full membership that allows Juniors to participate in all Region and USAV tournaments, events, activities
- CHESAPEAKE REGION – JR TRYOUT MEMBERSHIP ($20 for 11/1/19-11/8/19). Available for players trying out for 10U-13U. This membership is valid ONLY for November 1 – 8, 2019 for a maximum of five tryout dates. A JR TRYOUT MEMBERSHIP must be upgraded to a REGULAR JUNIOR membership after a player commits to a specific club team.
- CHESAPEAKE REGION – JR TRYOUT MEMBERSHIP ($20 for 11/8/19-11/17/19). Available for players trying out for 14U-18U. This membership valid ONLY for November 8 – 17, 2019 for a maximum of five tryout dates. A JR TRYOUT MEMBERSHIP must be upgraded to a REGULAR JUNIOR membership after a player commits to a specific club team.

- USA VOLLEYBALL JUNIOR PLAYER AGE DEFINITION
- Once a player participates (including but not limited to practicing, training, attending workouts and/or competing) in a club or varsity program for any university, college, community college, or junior college, he/she is ineligible to take part in any regional and national programming, which includes but is not limited to national JNC qualifying and championship events
Anything Else? Please arrive early for check-in. We recommend you bring a water bottle, although not required. Come with a good attitude and ready to work! We offer a Club Prep Clinic prior to tryouts if interested!

Club Expectations
Our purpose is to provide players an opportunity to develop their individual and team volleyball skills in an environment where our athletes can reach their athletic & personal potential, learn the important values of teamwork and sportsmanship. MEVC is affiliated with the Chesapeake Region Volleyball Association (CHRVA) of USA Volleyball and offers opportunities to compete at the highest possible level. Parents and Players must adhere to the CHRVA Code of Conduct and to the MEVC policies, procedures and obligations set forth in the MEVC Volleyball Club Agreement.
Parent Volunteers
Parent Volunteers are welcome to help with coordinating practice/tournament transportation, team bonding activities, photographing/filming games, shagging balls, participating in chaperone duties, and/or attending practices. *Participation in any team-like manager or chaperone role will require CHRVA registration, Safe Sport training, Background Screening, and a Volunteer Consent form.
